
Supercomputing Frontiers is an annual international conference that provides a platform for thought leaders from both academia and industry to interact and discuss visionary ideas, important visionary trends and substantial innovations in supercomputing. The fourth edition of Supercomputing Frontiers organised by Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling, will be held from March 12 – 15, 2018 in Warsaw and will feature an exciting lineup of speakers.


This year's international TERENA conference, will be host by the City of Reykjavik (21-24.05.2012). During the five-day event, participants will present the latest achievements of the research projects. Representatives of Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center will have their presentations during the conference sessions.


Deadline for submitting applications for participation in the Polish edition of Hack4Europe 2012 has been extended until May 20. The task of participants of the two-day marathon of programming is to create applications based on the resources of the European digital library Europeana. The prize pool in the competition is 18 000 Polish Zloty!


World Cup Finals of Academic Programming Contest (ACM ICPC) will be held from 14 to 18 May at the University of Warsaw. It is the oldest and most prestigious programming competition in the world, in which students take part. 112 teams that won the regional qualications will come to Warsaw. For the purposes of the final, the PIONEER Network NORDUnet compiled two optical 10Gigabit Ethernet channels between Warsaw and Stockholm.
